Dr Mohsin Ali graduated from King’s College London in 2009 with a number of awards and prizes. Following foundation training, he rotated between Bart’s, The Royal London and Whipps Cross University Hospitals, building surgical experience in oral and maxillofacial departments.
Oral surgery and implant dentistry
Since 2011, Mohsin has taken referrals for advanced surgical procedures and completed thousands of wisdom tooth extractions. He was accredited as a Dentist with a Special Interest in Oral Surgery and has continued to combine specialist clinical work with clear patient communication.
He completed the postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons and carries out the full spectrum of implant procedures, including sinus grafting, advanced bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, full-arch implants and immediate loading.
Teaching and mentoring
Mohsin spent many years as a Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the Royal London Hospital and was later appointed as a postgraduate clinical tutor on the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners’ Diploma in Primary Care Oral Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons.
He is an educational supervisor and postgraduate lecturer for LaKSS Deanery, regularly lectures on Oral Surgery courses for GDPs and has taught more than a thousand dentists through courses and mentoring.
Beyond the clinic
Outside work, Mohsin is a father of three. He enjoys reading, Brazilian jiujitsu and taking dentists to refugee camps to provide dental relief. He founded MAG Dental Academy in 2020 to help clinicians develop practical surgical skills in oral surgery and implant dentistry.
